So I finally got round to updating the Blog with my escapades of the last few months. Since then it’s been a bit of ‘smash and grab’ affair with birding, simply ‘twitching’ a few local scarcities. So here’s a quick round up with a couple of images to keep you up to date. A Citrine Wagtail (226) turned up on a small puddle at Polgigga on the 28th August and I finally caught up with the Buff-breasted Sandpiper (227) at Marazion en-route to the dentist! on the 6th. The 8th September proved fruitful with a Wryneck (228) at Land’s End on 8th September followed by a good sea-watch at Pendeen the same day which added Great Shearwater (229) and Black Tern (230) to the yearlist.
